The lighting at Badshahnagar Railway Station was designed around the station's wide and symmetrical architectural layout, creating a well-defined exterior while supporting a bright and welcoming passenger entrance.
The lighting concept combines clean white canopy illumination with balanced multi-color architectural accents, allowing the functional and visual requirements of the station frontage to work together as one cohesive lighting composition.
Lighting Approach
The main entrance canopy is illuminated with high-quality white lighting, providing clear and consistent illumination across the covered passenger entry area. The clean white light strengthens visibility beneath the canopy while maintaining a bright and organized appearance after sunset.
To complement the functional canopy lighting, multi-color side-wash illumination is applied across selected columns and architectural surfaces. Rather than covering the entire façade with color, the lighting is strategically positioned to emphasize the station's horizontal scale, structural rhythm, and geometric character.
The symmetrical placement of light across both sides of the entrance further reinforces the balanced architectural composition of the station frontage.
