The lighting at Aishbagh Railway Station was designed to highlight the station's modern structural character, with particular emphasis on its expansive steel canopy and prominent architectural arches.
The lighting concept combines high-output white floodlighting with bold green architectural accents, creating clear visual separation between different structural elements. This approach enhances the scale and geometry of the station while establishing a strong and recognizable nighttime presence.
Lighting Approach
High-lumen white floodlights are strategically used to illuminate the open steel canopy structures, providing broad and consistent coverage across their visible surfaces. The clean white illumination brings out the structural framework, making the geometry and scale of the canopy clearly visible after dark.
To create greater architectural depth, green accent lighting is introduced around the station's prominent arches. The contrast between the crisp white canopy illumination and bold green accents creates distinct visual zones across the façade.
This layered lighting approach allows individual architectural elements to stand out while remaining connected as part of a cohesive overall composition.
